The journal «Diacovensia – Teološki prilozi» («Diacovensia – Theological Contributions») is a scientific journal of the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Đakovo as part of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. As a rule, the Journal publishes scientific papers from the scientific fields of theology and philosophy, but also from other scientific fields dealing with religious topics (literature, sociology, pedagogy, psychology, law) as well as in the field of natural sciences. Special attention is paid to interdisciplinarity, which enables the dialogue of theology and philosophy with different scientific areas and fields. «Diacovensia – Teološki prilozi» is a periodical scientific publication that is published four times a year. The first issue of the Journal was published in 1993. The mission of the journal «Diacovensia – Teološki prilozi» is to contribute to the development of science based on quality scientific research contributions to the development of philosophical and theological thought, and through thoughtful editorial policy to bring together scientists in a joint effort to spread and exchange knowledge in studying philosophical-theological and related topics. Only unpublished papers in Croatian, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish are published in the Journal. The publisher of the journal «Diacovensia – Teološki prilozi» is the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Đakovo as part of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, and the seat of the Journal is in Đakovo, Petra Preradovića 17. The Journal is indexed in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Religious and Theological Abstracts (Myerstown, USA), European Reference Index for the Humanities (Strasbourg, France), Bibliographic Information Base in Patristics (Québec, Canada), Hrčak, the Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals, and in the bibliographic database SCOPUS. Since 2017, «Diacovensia – Teološki prilozi» has been included in the highest category of scientific journals in the Republic of Croatia (a1). The Journal is available online at: https://hrcak.srce.hr/diacovensia. The printed and online editions are published four times a year.
